Knowing Jesus

There is a purpose in life for every person who lives on this planet.  Do you know the purpose for your life?  In fact, the basic reason for every person’s life is the same:  to accept Christ and to serve Him.

A review of history reveals that purpose.  It is an historical fact that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a life completely free of sin, and at approximately age 30 began His ministry on earth.  This was foretold in the Old Testament book of Zechariah (Chapter 9, verse 9):   "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion, Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!  Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey."

History also clearly states that Jesus did many miracles during His earthly ministry and that He eventually suffered much physical pain before dying by crucifixion.  His sacrifice on the cross was for ALL mankind, as we read in II Peter 3:9.  It was and is His desire that ALL will repent and be saved.  John 3:16 expresses what Jesus wanted us to hear:  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Consider eternity – a time that NEVER ends!   Where will you be in eternity?  There are only two possible destinations – heaven or hell.  If you come to know Jesus as LORD and Savior, you will be able to spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Our quest at His Way Missions is help to bring as many as possible to know Jesus and to accept Him as their LORD and Savior, in order that they may enter eternity with calm assurance of their final destiny.

Romans 10:9 communicates quite clearly how to be saved from eternal damnation:  “If you will confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
